Waverley, in Rotherham South Yorkshire is managed by several different developers, the master developer Harworth.

The Harworth Group is responsible for the majority of the green space, which is managed by the Land Trust.

If a residential area has been developed, it is often the responsibility of the developer, eg Harron, Avant, Barrats etc to manage these issues in the first instance, such as drains, street lights, road adoption. However, a few roads in Waverley have been adopted by Rotherham Borough Council
