Merry Christmas

As Christmas is just around the corner, we all wanted to wish you a very "Merry Christmas".

Waverley is very blessed with an active community. We have the wonderful 'Waverley Living Advent Calendar', the School Christmas Jumper day with small gifts re-purposed from the cancelled Christmas light switch-on event, and a couple of church services open to all.

Although we cancelled the Christmas light switch-on because of Storm Darragh, we had support from Harworth with their donation of the tree and baubles, and Barratt/David Wilson Homes' donation towards the refreshments, which can be used for the summer event, as well as the food and drink vendors. However, the best part, was people of Waverley coming together to dress the tree, still enjoy a Farinas pizza, and make the area festive with the house decorations and the advent calendar. We sure have some Christmas spirit in Waverley.

In 2025 we will have a new Waverley Community Hub. It will be transformative in bringing people together and influencing a positive change for social connection in Waverley.

We all thank you, our residents, for your support, patience, and input during 2024, and we are sure 2025 will be super!!
